Peck is a mean god of war and strife, the lord of hell. He has a human appearance, but with horns, hooves and a tail. He can also transform into various animals, such as a sheep or a cat. Most of all, he fears the god Tsur, for he can reach him in hell.
Peck is weak-hearted and ugly. In peacetime, he is short and small, but wars, quarrels, and fights give him enormous power; he grows and becomes huge and mighty. Therefore, he regularly leaves his Underworld and provokes strife and wars on earth. For Peck to lose power, people must stop quarreling and fighting.
