Vovkunya is a wolf-woman. This mythical character is the victim of evil spells put on her and her fiancé to turn them into wolves during the wedding. Later, the bride managed to break a spell, but her beloved did not. So she asked a witch to turn her into Vovkunya so as to find her fiancé.
In Magic World, Vovkunya embodies the archetype of a sincere character, a victim of circumstances, who, nevertheless, tries to overcome them. Vovkunya is a Ukrainian analogue of masculine werewolves of Western culture. She is a strong woman who fights for her happiness, defends the good and defeats the evil.
