Tur is one of the oldest gods in the Slavic pantheon, as well as the totem animal of the ancient Slavs. He is the god of the sun and fertility, the patron of warriors and shepherds. This mythological character was depicted as a multi-horned bull with golden wool (his horns symbolized the sunrays). The magicians associated his image with the unity of heaven and earth. People sang spring songs and carols to honor Tur.
Tur was also considered the god of male power and honor. Therefore, in Magic World, he personifies the archetype of a courageous man (animus).
